Planning Your Five Great Winter Destinations Retreat

    1. Maui–  If you want to experience a tropical paradise in the middle of the cold winter time, you can’t beat Maui for a great winter time retreat! Maui is a great place to visit if you want to enjoy the Hawaiian coast and learn more about the Hawaiian Islands. You’ll see examples of ancient tribal warfare and bask in the sun safe from the cold outside. There are plenty of places to go in Maui. You can get there easily with the hotel shuttles, public buses, or other public transportation.
    2. Cozumel– Cozumel attracts visits every year to its beautiful clear, turquoise waters and white sands. But never is it more popular than during the winter months when people get “cabin fever” and long for warmer days. Located off the Yucatan Peninsula, you’ll experience warmer temperatures and pristine coastal vantage points. Plus shopping plazas like you have never seen anywhere else.
    3. San Antonio– If you want a cowboy type Christmas without leaving the U.S., why not set your sights on the atmosphere of the San Antonio area? You’ll see the site of the historical “Alamo,” the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park, and the San Fernando Cathedral. Take a horseback ride through the countryside or visit one of the top theme parks or historic museums. We would be remiss if we didn’t encourage at least spending part of your visit touring the San Antonio River Walk.  You’ll go home with plenty of stories to tell and enjoy a truly Western Christmas.
  1. Five Great Winter Destinations

    1. Park City, Utah– People tend to think about Utah as one of the warmest places in the U.S. This is true in certain areas but Utah is also home to a lot of winter ski country. If you are looking for an alternative to the Colorado Christmas ski resorts; try out a Park City, Utah ski resort for starters. Visit the St. Regis Deer Valley resort near the Wasatch Mountains where you can enjoy AAA Five Diamond hospitality of this mountainside retreat and make the most of your ski getaway.
    2. Banff, Canada– If you don’t mind staying in a winter-like atmosphere, you’ll love the beauty and majesty of the Banff, Canada area. You’ll see the Swiss-like views in the heart of the Canadian Rockies and you may never want to leave.
